The women at NEST International formed a committee called WON (Women of NEST). It is an inter-company women’s group to empower and share knowledge with the women of our company.
We invited Kim to lead a presentation called "Career Advancement Strategies: Taking Your Career to the Next Level”. To say that she is professional and inspiring would be an understatement.
It is obvious she does what she loves and is excellent at it. However, being inspiring doesn't necessarily give you the tools to take action. This is exactly what she brought to our group - tools. She brought real, concrete tips for actions to take to move your career to the next level.
She really got us thinking about things like, "What is your personal brand? What do you stand for? What actions are you taking and what does that tell your colleagues?"
Another important part of the equation is your plan. If you have a goal, break it down into smaller steps. Then, you have a better chance of accomplishing your goals. It's one thing to say, "I want to get my Master's Degree someday." It's another thing to say, "I'm going to research Master's programs between January and March and choose one by April."
She had an immediate impact on the group with just one visit. If you are looking for a master trainer with positive energy, compassion and expertise, you found her.
We are looking for (2) experienced training facilitators who can develop and facilitate interactive, engaging, and information-packed training sessions. The projects for which we are seeking facilitators are NJ, NY, and PA.
The facilitators must be willing to follow the K-Ferg model/structure in their sessions.
Kimberly Ferguson is one of the most valuable people I've ever worked with during my career as the City of Philadelphia Water Department Training Manager. Proactive, energetic and perfectly organized. Brilliant learning and development consultant. Kimberly provided outstanding results in areas such as training needs assessment, LMS implementation, supervisory development, coaching/mentoring, leadership training and team building for the organization. Energetic and broad-minded L&D consultant - that's her! Detail-oriented team player. Through the years, we worked on various projects and I was impressed by her manner of doing a great job. Definitely worth recommending.
When you attend one of Kimberly's workshops, you walk out with knowledge and confidence. Kimberly is a patient and gifted trainer that knows how to connect with her audience and make concepts come alive. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Kimberly, you will be pleased with the results.
Ms. Ferguson is an effective and efficient communicator. I have worked alongside Ms. Ferguson for several years, she has established a reputation as an extremely capable, effective leader. She has consistently displayed qualities of initiative, conscientiousness, and professionalism. Ms. Ferguson has been recognized as an educational leader who is committed to academic excellence. Ms. Ferguson communicates clearly and effectively. She is articulate, tactful, and impressive. As a public speaker, she is at ease with faculty groups, students and parents. In my judgment, Ms. Ferguson is a model professional trainer. I would recommend Ms. Ferguson without reservation.
Kimberly came and spoke with my AmeriCorps VISTA team on a series of topics ranging from effective communication to marketing and personal branding. My team and I are so grateful to Kimberly for coming in fully prepared and packed full of useful knowledge that we all could use in the real world. Kimberly made us all feel as though we could take over the world, if we were willing to perfect our craft and invest in ourselves. I have to thank her for being so willing to help me and for putting together such an amazing training for my team. Her ability to drive home points and/or ideas with each of my members, so much so that they still talk about her training to this day, says so much about the type of person and trainer she is!
There is no doubt that Kimberly is talented in her abilities to effectively lead conversations/trainings with diverse populations. I would recommend Kimberly Ferguson with out reservation, to anyone who is interested in having someone committed to making sure there is quality in everything training that she does. Thank you again!!
Content and presentation by Lonnie and Kimberly was consistently high quality and engaging. Most importantly, each session provided an excellent review of the challenges and opportunities inherent in leadership and management when dealing with disruptive youth– while challenging us to clarify and to find our own answers. . . .
"It is great to have facilitators with so much energy and knowledge of group dynamics. I felt challenged and consistently drawn into the exercises and [the] presentations had my full attention due to the experience and background knowledge of the facilitators. I highly recommend Lonnie and Kimberly for your organization’s professional development needs.
